Incredible Edibles Todmorden

Invited back to my old high school by my art teacher, There is currently a massive trend being set in Todmorden, West Yorkshire at the moment and thats growing your own vegetables. Not only was Todmorden one of the first towns in England to start such an exciting project, but its offically spreading and becoming more popular all over the country. Year 10 Todmorden High school students paint artwork for the organic garden.

Incredible Edibles have their own “grow your own” veg hub at Todmorden High School, Which the students and community are both involved with. My role in all this organic fun was to work with year 10 students to create mural artwork to be used and mounted permanently on the wall leading to the organic garden.

The students worked really hard, and enjoyed being so creative using spray paint’s to paint their favourite fruit and veg! They also liked the fact that the artwork was going to be a feature and it gave them the opportunity to paint on 4x8ft boards.
