Hidden Sheffield Exhibition
After Painting Factories in Sheffield with Rocket for over 6 years now, The excitement around the abandoned buildings has grown alot, Back 6 years ago when i painted my first birds in decaying buildings around Sheffield, I did wonder if anyone would ever go looking for the artwork in years to come. And it did.
3 years ago myself and Rocket01 recieved a message from the renound urban photographer Jeremy Gibbs, he was on the hunt for some of the pieces we had painted that we had uploaded to the internet. Including some of our friend Phlegm’s artwork. Jeremy succeeded well and he put together the exciting publication “Out of sight” - Signed copies will be available to purchase at the Exhibition.
I decided it was time that the good old sport of urban exploration was shared amongst Sheffield community, so they can see the type of places we like to explore.
No other gallerys in Sheffield have explored this topic of interest, so in July one of the first Hidden Sheffield exhibitions will take place !
